Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central users worldwide can now leverage ImageLink for Dynamics 365 Business Central, a solution for document management and cross-referencing, within Dynamics 365 Business Central. ImageLink enables organizations to retrieve documents from associated Dynamics 365 Business Central pages via secure, integrated system designed to streamline operations and boost productivity. ImageLink for Dynamics 365 Business Central eliminates paper-based processes, improves compliance and audit readiness, accelerates document retrieval across departments, and reduces operational costs through cloud-based storage.

ImageLink transforms how businesses manage documents by allowing seamless integration from supported Dynamics 365 Business Central pages with cross-referenced visibility. ImageLink enables related documents to be viewed across functional areas—vendor cards display purchase orders and invoices, customer cards show sales orders and invoices, and so on. This functionality enhances productivity by simplifying document access in each functional area such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, HR, and sales order processing.

The new ImageLink app builds on Microsoft Power App integration to offer an intuitive interface within Dynamics 365 Business Central, allowing users to launch ImageLink from a menu or button on Dynamics 365 Business Central pages for quick document access and attachment. Smart metadata automatically stores relevant transaction data for powerful cross-referencing without direct database queries or drill down after drill down. Documents are stored securely in the cloud using Microsoft Azure SQL for metadata and Azure Blob Storage for files. With Power App integration, users can access and manage documents securely from anywhere, using advanced search capabilities based on transaction metadata.
