Acquire Image
The scanner interface allows documents to be entered from a variety of
pertinent locations within the accounting screens. This feature automatically ties the
current screen data with the image being scanned. That is, if a specific
inventory item is being displayed on the screen, then the scanned image is
automatically tied to that inventory item. If a customer invoice is currently
displayed, then the scanned image is tied to the customer and the invoice. As
such, the scanned image is accessible from both the customer and the invoice
screens.
Drag and Drop Non-scanned documents can be imported into
the ImageLink repository with this feature. This feature applies to
any document that can be launched by Windows via its extension such as
.doc, .xls, .txt and many more. It also applies to email documents
and their associated attachments.
